On the subject, I really dont know if game had greater number of people at beginning or not. Many tactical army sim games similar to these (War Of Rights, Blackwake, Squad, Hell Let Loose...) usually have one big server that is almost always full. Guess people really like ramboing and not everyones up to teamplay limitations.
Finding a server isnt the issue, theres heaps of them, just never with enough people on :P
There where 3 populated servers about 1 hour ago (date and time of your post) One EU public line battle server with 170+ of a possible 180 playing, One US Public Army Battlefield with 150 people on and one EU Public army battlefield with around 80 people on.
Edit : EU equivalent has 60/150 people currently. Not bad but...why? Why are EU players (based on ping) playing on some godforsaken distant server if they are making more than %90 of population? I double checked it, those people are deliberatly playing on a US server and complaining about High Ping on chat. Is this all about just ignorance?
I dont understand that either, it seems like some kind of tradition for eu players to stick on us with cost of their ping, hate that because i have like over 200 ping on US. On the other side the game is simply not fun with low numbers of players - large part of population is either cav or rifles.
6 rifles and 12 cav max
and even then rifles aren't scary since the devs are nerfing guns to promote broken melee
Melee feels unoptimised for the reason that was just stated, people go on distant servers and a surprised that they have high ping which makes the game underperform most notably in melee where you’ve got to react to strikes in under a second to properly block them
they can stab you while not even looking at you, peak before you can see them move, etc.
