Talking about the Electric whip

I just wanted to launch this thread as to speak about the Electric whip. To most runners this weapon is S tier. There are many reasons to this of course, auto-aim, good range, dps, possibility to use it during a jump, suspending yourself in mid air. Most of all, it is SAFE.

However, i nerver finished any run with the whip, while i managed to have some with amazing affixes. Because of one feel I get from this weapon and which seems to be shared by other players. This weapon is also quite lame, and overhaul BORING. It encourages a rather slow and low risk gameplay. Most complete runs video posted on YT with the whip take around 1 hour. I don't know about yours, but when i get an assassin dagger and a frost blast, i finish it in almost 30 minutes, while having much more fun. That's why I want people to post here their feeling about this weapon, and possible tweaks and improvements to be made.

I'll respect your thought whatever you want to say, so please don't pollute this thread by giving any people the "Git Gud".

IMO the electric whip just kind of sucks. I almost never pick it up because I usually only find level ones and twos and they're basically garbage. I hear a lot that the higher level ones are much better which makes me think the damage on it is more exponential than an incline in damage. If I'm right and that's how it is then I'll keep ignoring it. It doesn't even have to be an incline, just a less ridiculous exponential increase. If it were a more sloping damage instead of being virtually flat until higher levels came along I might work with it a little more.

For me the Eletric Whip is just a secondary weapon meant for killing bats and small enemies.
The short range makes it usually riskier against big enemies since you stay at place to use it.
It's in a fine state, as far as I see it.
