Definitely a user issue. Pilot error. :)
chests), with a silly build, on 3 boss cells. I hope it helps convince anyone who keep claiming that Dead Cells must be played a particular way (speedrun, tactics meta, etc.)
Note that I'm not a particularly good player, so (1) be nice with criticism, and (2) you can do it too!

Also, some beacons force you to light them because you can't go around them. It'd be better if the player triggered the beacons with a button, imo. Then you'd get total control over when you want them to be lit.
This is exactly the problem, you have to take a leap of faith and hope the direction you're going in has a lantern, it doesn't help there's countless enemies and it's pitch black so you can't actually see if there's a lantern above or below you.
Hence why I said:
Anyway it's not a bad weapon, but many people would probably disagree with me. I just wanted to use something a bit weird so nobody would be like "well of course forgotten sepulchre is easy with 31 tactics and throwing knives"
Oh, and to the poeple saying you gotta get the light item, as i said before, you DON'T NEED THE LIGHT, you just need to git gud and you pass easily without it
OP is wrong for these reasons
Although the shield isn't as helpful because you can get attacked from multiple directions and it's always better to dodge to safety than risk blocking and getting overun.
The only reason I dislike the level is that sometimes you don't find a light for LONG stretches. I've had a few runs end like that. Desperately searching around for them in a massive room, just to die slowly. I'm not crazy about having to explore the rooms, make sure there's a light at the end of the section, then back track.
