Any way to return to a previous zone?

I evolve pretty slow and it'd go faster if I could go back to banking the cells I earned or refill on HP some..

Nope, you only move forward. That is why you have to explore every corner, play cauciously, and decide if it is better to leave to a next area if you are starting to run low on healt flasks, or continue on.

But there,s no "leave to a next area" because the only path ahead is the area boss, or restart..

You still bank your cells/blueprints before you fight the boss.

Wait what does the door say ? Something with the name "Bridge" ?

No, just the bright yellow door in the second area after the iron door, it just says "Enter" to fight the archer guy.

I just killed the archer boss, it's where you get the rune to grow vines.

yeah I met the boss on the bridge and almost killed it.. frost grenades seem to be an absolute requirement in this game

Freeze is always good, but there are never any "requirements" or forced playstyles. As an extreme example, this guy does full playthroughs with single item types. You don't have much unlocked yet, though.

Yeah i was confused as to what "boss" there is , becouse that is a "rune boss" i would say. You just have to fight him with what you have.

Wow any tips on the guy in the sewers? He's pretty relentless and there's no room to fight!
