Village key?

So i got to fog fjord (first play of the new update) and now to proceed i need a village key, but i have slayed every enemy and gone to every place i can access, there is only one part i can't go because it's to high, guess i need a walljump rune. But what now? is it impossible to proceed without that rune? Because if that's the case, i think this is a little idiotic, to force me die and begin a new game to search for a way to proceed

It should be in one of the buildings, you should check you map to see if you missed one.

There is only 1 place i can't check, because it's too high and i can't jump there or wallclimb, the rest i checked every single pixel of the level and nothing, i will have too give up and restart the run :/ feelsbadman

Can you give us a screenshot of the unreachable location? If nothing else, it will show the seed so that devs can double-check the level generation.

Yeah if there honestly isn't one in any of those houses then it must be a bug. I ran through it a couple times already and got one prior to the first checkpoint and another to finish the level off afterwards, no wall jumping rune necessary.

Hopefully if it is some generation issues it is very rare and they will fx it soon!

Had a similar issue. Found the first key. Searched every room i could get to twice. Pretty sure I know where the next key is, but I can't find a way to it. Seed 68038

If you have a walljump rune, you can access to the other side without a Village key through a secret area directly above the first locked door.
But you can get the key no problem, it's in one of the buildings, even the map marks it which one for christ sakes.

as you can see there is an area i can't reach, as i don't have the wallclimb rune , the only place i didn't search, that most surely has the key

You have to climb but have to start above the spikes.
BTW you can carry the unnecessary key over to other levels.

Unless you didn't unlock the Counter Shield from Fog Fjord.

The only problem is: at that time i did not have the spider rune, it was my first post update playthrough, and what i was complaining was about the fact you can go on without that, witch was a serious flaw.

Yep, seems they need to do some tinkering with their new algorithm. I still haven't had issue with the fjord, but was stuck in the sewers as it generated with the only way out requiring the spider rune.

Im in the Fjord. I got a key and unlocked a door, but two other doors require the village key and I have none and there is not another in the map. I cannot proceed with this run.
