I get most of my caps from exploring, questing and leveling up my dwellers. A fair amount from 10 luck workers too.
And Bottle and Cappy too, now that I think about it.
Dwellers working resource rooms with 10+ luck (this works also with less luck , but just does not trigger as often), generate a surprising amount of caps over time since there is a check each time a resource is produced if it also generates any bonus caps.
Caps are also generated each time a dweller levels up a special through training, but its not much.
Bottle & Cappy give's a small chunk of caps per visit.
and the Mysterious Stranger, gives between 100 - 9,000 caps per click (depending on your vault size threshold). He's not ahrd to find, if you use the sounds as a directional detector, but that only works if your Not zoomed out all the way. Also, depending how you built your vault, and how many rooms have been upgraded affects how hard he is to find.
.. or just cheat! lol.
Good luck ahve fun
Thanks for advices, everyone. I never knew that luck can increase amount of found caps.
good luck ahve fun.
Every time a resource is collected, there is a chance of getting extra caps based on the workers' LUCK stat. By having many resource rooms filled with dwellers with high LUCK, you will gain a steady income from just collecting resources.
Source: Internet,- but i can confirm this, my last bigger vault had 300k+ caps, 90% or more just from the resource rooms.
2. lvl up the dwelers, each lvl up increases their health attack etc and also gives caps
3. send mr handys out into the wastelands (be warned however, if you don't bring them back before they start to malfunction and run below the 1/2 line, it'll cost you around 2k caps to repair them, so do this only a couple of times and if you have full health mr handys)
4. increase each dwelers luck to 10 max + more if you have outfits, this will
-lessen chance of a failure and increase chances of sucess when rushing a room, that will give extra resources and caps
-clicking on the room that gives resources will give you caps easier
5. do the tasks like extinguishing 6 fires with no fatalities, collecting 100 water in under a min etc.
6. Do quests, i gurantee you they're the most easiest way to get caps (initial reward from the mission itself, whatever you find during the mission can be sold or scrapped, and you get caps sometimes for killing enemies and clicking over their bodies if they don't disappear after they're killed)
and of course there is the bottle and cappy and the mysterious man that appears every so often and clicking on them gives you caps
Like 10 days, so you put the right people in there and get some good %crafting pets. Then,,, 6 days...... ugh..
Edit: and to complain more, you will find that the legendary gear will not win a single fight that armor you already have in your storage wouldn't do. Level of the enemies vs. player is the biggest thing here once you have your training maxed. (endurance)
