yes, but some people got issues with redeeming purchased stuff.

Would it be better if I started a new vault trying to get lucky with the first launchboxes?
Or farming dailies is faster?

launching a new vault doesn't really help, because the new vault has to achieve the same amount of legendary dwellers first.
i have 3 vaults running (normal, survival, normal) and now my 2nd vault (survival) got the most legendary dwellers so far.

you can get at least 2 legendary dwellers as questreward (guaranteed).
you can also get launchboxes from completing objectives, random encounters by exploring the wasteland and lucky finds on quests (beside the rewards for the quest).
but don't put all of your hopes on launchboxes, lots of crap, chance of a legendary dweller isn't that high.
afaik the highest chance of legendary dwellers comes from a "starter pack" as they always give dwellers - maybe someone who bought them can confirm this.

I would just give you a plain no if you intended to naturally get this achievement without spending years(or years worth of cash) on the game.

it is so fast, that if i cout the time how long i play and divide it how many i found..... you will need ~9-10 years.

shortest playtime:
you have 78.840 h (9 years) on the record and found 1 legendary dweller

longest playtime:

Manipulate time or download a cheat editor, or be a millionaire with money to throw away.
I just manipulated time, you just change the time and you can skip to quests, daily rewards, and objectives. Doesn't take as long as the other methods, or cost money. I dont like downloading cheat editors and stuff so I chose to manipulate the time, have all 100% trophies.

Of course you'd say no because you dont wanna take advantage of the system. You seem to think this is some kind of a proving ground when its just a point and click game. But I got my leg dweller trophy in just a matter of days from time manipulation, and it was fun, I got to finish all the quests, and save tons of resources, caps, and got lots of pets. Glad I did it..

Legit, is a tether keeping you back you know, its just a game.

You say I give bad advice but your answer is no, funny... Real funny, OP, the answer is yes you can get this trophy easily. If you dont mind changing your date, which takes seconds.

Also back up your saves once you get about 200-300 lunchboxes and if you get screwed reload your save and try again, select a different date if you get crap. Also if you open like 10 boxes and get lucky and get multiple leg dwellers, update your backup save accordingly.

Also you will never need nuka colas using this method.

Well, maybe if we save some 200-300 launchboxes and then open them with a backup save, it would be as close to legit as possible?:D

I did read him, its not cheating.

If its cheating never change a setting on your computer ever again you might cheat one of your games.
