How many dwellers to craft ?
Does putting more than one dweller in the crafting room speed up how quickly something is crafted ?

Yes, and that also depends on what stat that thing being crafted requires.

I just got the crafting looks like the additional dweller increases the speed by like 6 minutes over 2-3 hours. barely noticable.

Depends on stats, try 6 dwellers with 17 stat. Also pets.

dont forget, diferent weapons / armour use diferent stats, so those stats needed for crafting change with the items.

Yeap, so ideally all crafters should have all 10s in SPECIALs and you might want to swap their outfits for crafting each item.

Craft is just a f@cking joke in teh game, you need a LOT of caps, LOT of time, the correct items inneed to say you only can craft ONE ITEM AT ONCE.

Try playing the game before crafting was added. It's was nearly impossible to get Legendary items except from lunchboxes, but there were no quests either, so lunchboxes were more rare.
There was low chance to find legendaries in the wasteland after several real-time days of exploring.

All hail crafting!

I like crafting. in my first game, where i learned the ropes, i ended up crafting my vault 7 weapons that did 17-18 dmg. Sure it was slow, but each new gun helped me to deal with radscorpy's & deathclaws.

I shudder even thinking about playing this pre-crafting. ewww yucky:steammocking:

Thanks for all the tips :)

I haven't bothered with crafting yet as I only have 40 dwellars so I can't craft anything good but I wanted to plan ahead. I have gotten lucky though and have some really good stuff like enchanced fatmans and other decent weapons for now.

When you can craft anything that has more damage or +stat than half of your vault - it's generally worth it. You'll get overflown by common junk later, now you can at least put it to some use. Later you'll be forced to sell it sometimes, or sell common items instead of scrapping them.

I usually sell common junk as I get so much and don't currently have the room to save it up.

Does crafting legendary items require common junk too or only legendary junk ?
Ryuu Apr 8, 2017 @ 9:21pm
Crafting legendary requires legendary junk and sometimes a bit of rare. Crafting rare = rare + bit of common; common = only common. Might be a few exceptions, but i don't see any.
So if you don't plan to craft common and rare at all you're safe to sell all common junk.
