Max stat dweller, favourite room?
I have moved my save from my android to steam and continued on my 200-people vault of max-stat dwellers. Since it was like 2 years since I played I forgot about some mechanics, like happiness :)

I have a lot of storage rooms that I've filled with people to keep accidents at bay, but many of those dwellers happiness only go to 75%. Some are as high as 100% though for some reason.
I can't remember how the dwellers 'best stat', or 'favourite job' worked (each dweller have a fav. stat supposedly that when put in a room that uses that particular stat would make them happier) but I thought that training each stat to the max would make them happy no matter what room I put them in.

How can I rediscover their favourite stat to make them all 100% happy? What else can I do?

Storage are useless rooms but use E as a stat. What happen if you equip one with an E equipment? It would get the stat above 10, above all other stats.

If I remember right it's the actual highest stat, if you have all special at 10 just equip a outfit to set one stat over all and done :)

yes, favorite workspace for dweller is the highest stat. so maybe i have someone with 3 str and everything else on 2, then strenght will be his highest stat, and power plant will be his favorite room to work in. if you have all stats on 10, like people already said before, just use outfit, for example military clothes in power plant. that way, their str will become 13 and then power plant will be their favorite workplace, because it uses str and str is highest stat.

1: the easiest way to get everyone to 100 is making babies ; it's an instant 100% happiness to both of them for 'doing the deed'.

2: If you successfully rush a room, everyone in that room gets a boost to happiness ; warning, faling the process lowers happiness.

3: what ^ Guilherme D'ravem said above 8 minutes ago ^.

4: build the Radio Rooms, and pack them full with dwellers in Charisma clothing. Each full radio room, boosts every single dweller in the entire vault. The boost remains active even if the broadcast is turned off.

good luck have fun :steammocking:

Except that the radio boost is quite minimal. So unless you actually spam radio rooms in your vault... Would take like at least a dozains 3 size rank 3 radio rooms to actually get around a 25% boost.

BUT, it would be permanent.

At the coust of perma 18 dwellers working on it.
BUT, again, would work in a pretty stabilished vault

Mine is floating around 200 as I kick some and get new children trying to get rare/legendary dwellers, with around 60 dwellers training stats, was just early today asking myself what to do with the extra ones once I had everyone with maxed special.

Max stat dwellers are for exploring and quests.

But without the radio room. A vault with all dwellers at 100% happiness shows as 99%. With the a single radio room with 2 chrisma dwellers in sexy pj's , its boosted to 100%.
So it's critical to have if you want 100% ; and obviously it would take more radio rooms at higher amounts of dwellers ( i think )

Oh I agree with that. I didn't say you should not build a radio room. I have mine in my own vault too. If anything to get more random dwellers coming in. The moral boost is still there even if you are broadcasting outside.

Also max stat dwellers are good for crafting rooms.

I have the appropriate gear for everyone (+S for power, +E for the ones in storage) but some in the storage rooms don't seem to go over 75%. Some are at 81%.

How much bonus do you get from the radio room? I have one that's filled with +C-dwellers, but it's not broadcasting because the vault's full. Does it need to broadcast to have a happiness effect? Thinking a idle radio gives 6% increase in happiness (but apparently not to everyone?)

This is hard.

I found this 'https://github.com/therabidsquirel/The-Fallout-Shelter-FAQ/wiki/*4.-Dweller-Happiness-and-Health'

If it's accurate it answers all my questions, and 75% happiness is what is expected for a dweller in the correct room. I just thought it went up more.
