If you complete the quest "Bottle and Cappy" then they will visit your vault once in a while and raise your hapiness pretty much to the max for the duration.
Edit: having two dwellers mate will also temporarily boost their hapiness to 100% each.

Breeding raises both dwellers happines to 100%, ragardless of how low it was and is permanent ; but if they suffer from negative happines buffs it wall fall again fast. Some rare times, a dwellers happiness will Not raise at all from 10%. Its a know bug, kick those dwellers out on their ass.
Rushing a resource room & succeeding the rush gives a boost to all dwellers working that room. A failed attempt lowers all of their heppines by the same amount.
