He's a theif, He's sent in for a few seconds at random. If you find him. Click him. If you don't, it will play music and he will steal some power/food/water. That's all I remember.

He doesn't take any resources. If you find him you get caps, that's all...

He's called the Mysterious stranger and if you can click on him (he only stays in your Vault a few seconds) you can get caps from him =) The more dwellers and rooms you have in your Vault the higher amount of caps he can deliver (i think) Most i got from him so far is 3845 caps so i would suggest you wait for his tune and start looking =)

Except that you did not, since he never gives more than 4000 - so theoretically the highest possible amount is 3999 caps.

Think its 5k. Have gotten 4970, 4920 and 4950 something. So over 4k is possible.

He is the Mysterious Stranger. If you find him & click on him he gives you caps as a bribe to leave him alone.

The ammount of caps you get is random; but is based on your vault threshold level (size & strength). It can be anywhere from a few caps, a hundred or so, to as high as many thousands of caps. Having a large vualt, does NOT garantee a bif payout, though having a small vault makes it nearly impossible to have a very large payout.

The best i have ever seen is jsut over 9,ooo caps. But that happens very rarely, ist's uselly in the 4k-7k range. Early game, its much less.

I'm made a lot of my money on that guy! Follow the sound of where his music is coming from to find wha area he's in. The most I've gotten was $4800 so far. The amount varies every time so sometimes I get only $100.

I too have had well over 4000 caps multiple times, but never over 5000.
