Can I have too much storage

Other then the issues of incidents occuring in them (mitigated by having manned rooms within one floor and alot of surplus power), is there an adverse to having too much storage (cause I am #($*ing sick of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Vault boy popping up every minute).
