Settings not saving on game close.
Hey there, I've been getting a fairly weird error with my settings.
Due to how my sound system is configured, I often need to set games very low audio to prevent myself from blasting out my eardrums.
In addition, I need to inverse both the X and Y to make the game more comfortable to steer.

For whatever reason, both the camera and sound settings go back to the default after I close the game. This is particularly weird because I changed it to fullscreen and it remember that setting. In fact that's the only setting it does remember. Loading minigame, camera settings, sound, filter strength ect. are always reset each launch.

I elected to look at my config.ini file in appdata, and it seems really empty.

Here is a screenshot of the contents.

Does this look right to anyone else, taking into consideration what settings I have changed?

Me and a couple more people had that problem, but I think all you have to do is change these settings when you're in-game and save the game afterwards. It looks like these settings are simply linked to your save file, instead of being global, like resolution is.

^ This is correct as far as I know.

So I want to go into the game with the settings in the default, then edit them to what I wish and save? Thank you.

Yeah, it's originally a ps2 game, so that behaviour is common.

However, does it affect the music on title screen though?

That's my largest complaint. I turn the game on and the max sound on the title about knocks me out of my chair. I've taken to unplugging my audio devices before starting it up.

I hate when games/programs do that too, I also often have problems because of that. But in that case you can always change game's master volume in Windows via Volume Mixer[www.howtogeek.com].
