How long is it?
Played way back when it was on PS2. Don't remember the length. Loved the game, but don't know if I want to pay $20.

Edit: Also does it support more than one save file? I.e. if my girlfriend wants to play, can she have her own.

Both my playthroughs took 40 hours. The latter was completionist and I used guides for some stuff so it can easily be 50 hours as well.

Yes, there are many save slots.

edit: have to be careful about not overwriting the wrong one while saving.

Who are these broke people trying to play games but they don't want to drop $20 on a game that is longer than most. I don't get it. I've seen people complain that $10 is too much because it came out 4 years ago but can give 100+ hours of gameplay.

Simple playthrough not focusing on getting extras, around 50 hours if its a first time

I have $246.47 in my Steam wallet at this moment. I just don't have any urgency to play this game. I would like to play it, but there isn't a pressing need. I'm unconcerned with supporting Capcom and I have no hopes for Okami 2, so thats off the table as well. Its has a great amount of content, but that ain't changing the fact the game came out 11 years ago. It seems like a raw port off the top with nothing done to it. No Achievements/Steam Cloud/60FPS. $20 is a fair deal for the content, but it has to be considered that it came out 11 years ago. They had all these "HD" textures already made for the PS3 version, did they not?

Just use different Steam accounts, it's usually enough.

The game isn't "50 hours without extras" or "over 100". A good/normal playthrough, not necessarily 100% but not just the main objective, is 45-50 hours.

I don't understand, you are against buying it because it is an 11yr old game and doesn't have steam achievements and 60fps? You can do what you want with your money, but if that is what dictates your decisions then you got bigger problems.

Maybe it's for the best for all involved that you don't buy it if that is how you judge a games worth. Seems like modern shooter man games are more your style.

Weren't achievements confirmed already? It's just they are not listed on the page because the game is not out yet. It's been brought up a few times already. O_o Also seems like people believe steam cloud will also be supported.

Worse case wait until tomorrow and re-check the steam page one last time.

What a sad way to end your already bad argument. The game is pretty much the port that was released 5 years ago on PS3. Now it's up to each of us to buy it or not. Simple as that.

Actualized List of Things that are off the table:
Half Life 3
Harrenhal
Okami 2

Based off your last paragraph, contrary to whatever you may believe, people can enjoy more than one flavor of ice cream. You have 500hr on CSGO. You also play HyperDimension Neptunia. You can enjoy both.

Now since I had to elaborate on that, I might as well go ahead and state the obvious core of my arguement which was not that the game doesn't have 60FPS/Achievement(Maybe)/Cloud(Maybe)

It was just a simple pro/con summarization of the game's value and my considerations on why I am considering buying it versus why I am not considering buying it.

The consideration that the game is 11 years old is very real considering:

1. I have already played it.

2. It is missing some modern day comfort with aforementioned features.

3. Its 11 years old and $20 is debately steep for an aged game like that. Especially since it seems a direct port from the PS3 version, five years ago? Its much like how if I asked a group of random Steam people: Should I buy the Elder Scrolls Oblivion right now for $20? I would imagine that many would argue for me to wait for a sale (even assuming Christmas wasn't around the corner). At least I would assume they would.

I don't even really know how to interpret this statement though? Best for who? Is this just rampant fanboyism coming to defend a product they love? Or is it just a petty attack? Offense that I suggested that I'm only considering buying Okami because of the price (i.e. assumption that I don't consider it a good value)? Difficult for me to interpret with what meaning you had when you wrote this

It isn't an arguement. It was a question and statement.

Why are you here in this forum if you have no intention to buy/replay this game just to tell people the reason why you don't want to? Are you mentally ill?

You don't go to a seafood resturant when you don't like seafood, then tell people in the resturant why you don't like seafood.
