Sorry to disappoint my friend. Hope you at least give it a chance and test things out within the two hour refund window.
whew
Now, is it a shame they're not putting in the effort for an uncapped framerate? Yes. But, it is what it is. If a modder finds a way then more power to us.
I guess the bad mojo comes from the lack of effort on CAPCOM's part.
Best example I can mention, [PlatinumGames/Little Stone Software/SEGA]'s Vanquish:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/460810/Vanquish/
The Vanquish PC port example was even mentioned 3 months ago to Yuri Araujo over at CAPCOM Unity:

Besides that, the merits of 60 FPS over 30 FPS are quite noticeable:

I will probably buy the game anyways, but not right now, and definitely not at full price, because of the FPS decision.
Finally, I recommend the guys and gals at CAPCOM to read the following to try and understand what are the expectations for gaming on PC:
The features PC gamers want—an open letter to developers and gamers

Also no one is denying that 60FPS is better than 30. There's no question about it, however it's a matter of effort/cost vs demand.
It was designed for 30fps, animations are suited to it so it runs just fine.
The exact same thing can be said for Ocarina of Time.. the game runs at like 20fps but feels as smooth as butter due to animations and everything being for that specific fps and nothing else.
Some of you people are just irritating and ignorant and nitpicky as they come and you deserve to not play good games because of your idiocy. So thank yourself for screwing yourself out of it.
Okami is not a racing game or a fast paced FPS where the frames matter.
Whaa, whaaa. My PC master race FPS. News flash, the engine was probably locked to 30FPS for a reason.
I don't give a damn about console wars, PC master race (what is an awful "joke" reference to nazism), and I can tolerate games at 30 fps. I consider myself a gamer, that means a person who enjoys playing video-games, and that also means, doesn't matter from which system.
Anyone that see this as bragging, fine! But I often get disappointed whenever I see this bickery between "gamers".
It doesnt need to be a "fast pace", lol, FPS. Nor a racing game, lol, for framerate to matter. High framerate matters in EVERYTHING. The game FEELS better and is MORE RESPONSIVE to player input. EVERYTHING benefits from higher framerate. EVERYTHING, with no exception.
That "its not a fast paced game" still exists at this point in time, entering 2018 is mind numbing.
