Interesting game but the bugs scared all my friends away
I suppose this is more of a cautionary tale from our experiences so far:

Myself and a couple of friends bought the game yesterday, and we were having fun and enjoying learning the game today. That all abruptly came to a halt however once we beat a dungeon and a friend lost all of the gear he got inside the dungeon. The next dungeon the same thing happened to me. Immediately killed the enjoyment of the game. We decided to try and push through one more time only to get a progression stopping bug with the Scout in the grasslands not spawning. Its an interesting game to spend a little time in for sure, however the bugs/broken state of the game causes more frustration than anything. I tried to look online to see if there is a roadmap for the games development further, however was unable to find anything concrete given that this is the state of 1.0 released just a couple of weeks ago. Fingers crossed that the game continues to see some love by the developers and its potential is realized. Happy Holidays

to be fair here, the game has been pretty stable with tiny weeny bugs before v1 release.

The issues you've raised all happened after v1 release.
Not that this matters of course, a bug is a bug and annoying to lose stuff I agree.

However, since V1 in Dec there have been some very off-putting bugs as pointed out here and discussions which I'm sure they are addressing, so don't be a stranger, it may all be fixed soon.

It is the festive period, maybe the devs had a little too much festive drinks! :D and some naughty elves tinkered where they shouldn't and sprinkled bugs instead of snow.

My boyfriend and I are unable to finish the main quest in Grasslands dungeon... And he has another quest with Leena that doesn't trigger the completion. The game unfortunately seems very buggy.

Am hoping to hear some sort of word from the devs. The games quite enjoyable, a few significant issues though are bit of a nasty gate keeper to progression though
