Garb of the Holy Order
(2) Resurrect returns the target to life with full health
(3) Reduce the cooldown of Divine Shield by 4 seconds
(4) Increases the healing of Regen by 15% and increases the bonus healing and damage of
Avatar by 15%
(5) Divine Shield has a 50% chance to perform a free Regen on the target
(6) Channes Heal heal an additional nearby target
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Divine Shield base cooldown is 24 sec
Regen restore 7,5% maxHP per second for 8 sec and have a 10 sec cooldown
2) Reduces cooldown of Assassinate by 4 secs (very nice)
3) Backstab has 30% chance to reset cooldown of Assassinate (bleh, with bonus above its already at 4 secs and the void damage DoT does *not* stack)
4) Increases dmg of Assassinate and Backstab by 20% (the sweet spot imo, best overall bonus for this set)
5) Backstab has a 30% chance to reset Shadow Cloak (bleh)
6) Backstab bonus no longer requires Stealth (bleh)
The reason this set isn't optimal imo is because so much of it is tied to Backstab which is tbh an almost useless skill at high lvls. Sure, you can use it as an opener but ive found the dmg to be negligible. And if you do use it as an opener, thats probably the ONLY time youll use it in the fight. When first acquired its a great skill because it adds needed burst to your rotation. As you lvl up and acquire more skills though it soon becomes obsolete. I barely ever touch it these days on my Rogue and in fact I only use Stealth to skip trash mobs so I can make a beeline for the bosses.
If someone is absolutely intent on using the set then I would suggest aiming for the 4 piece bonus since Assassinate unlike Backstab is a GREAT skill and the bonus dmg is welcome. My current Rogue doesn't use any set pieces atm since I am trying to farm eternal star gear which has better bonuses anyways. Btw, there is also a 2 piece Elite weapon set (Shadow Lord's Wickedness/Madness) of which I looted one but don't remember the bonuses since I salvaged it. Anyways, sorry for the long write-up, just giving my opinions on this lol.
2) Reduces the cooldown on Flame Blast by 3 seconds (base CD is 6 sec)
3) Flame Blast has a 30% chance to reset the cooldown of Meteor
4) Increases the damage of Flame Blast and Meteor by 40%
5) Cast a free Flame Blast after channeling Cone of Fire for at least 1 seconds
6) Meteor creates two meteors 3 meters apart.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Charred Walker (Wizard Weapon set)
2) Using Cone of Fire after casting Ember Lance will generate 1 Ember Lance per second while channeling up to your maximum.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
meteor can crush all your allies in one shot, so don't using meteor to enemies while your allies are stick to them for fight.
2) Assassination resets the cooldown of phase port.
The issue with the rogue sets is not only the missing dmg of backstab.
you can phase port behind bosses.
what does that mean? you can do it ofc!
but bosses will turn INSTANTLY so you cant even play backstab when solo. besides the missing dmg.
(2) Assassinate resets the cooldown of Phase Port
Backstab has a 100% chance to Critically Strike
2) Reduces the cooldown of Toxic Arrow by 4 seconds
3) Poison arrow has a 30% chance to reset the cooldown of Blight arrow
4) Increases the damage of Poison Arrow and Blight arrow by 40%
5) Paralyzing shot has a 30% chance to trigger a free Blight arrow
6) Increases the area of effect of Blight arrow by 5meters
And let's not forget the ring + Bow sets (Morb's Seething Demise)
2) Increases the duration of Blight arrow by 3 seconds
+ Deadly shot resets the cooldown of Healing vapors (as of now, it triggers on Blight arrow casts and not on deadly shot as tooltip suggests)
To summarize, it makes Toxic arrow spammable, and Blight arrow have free casts, cooldown resets on Poison arrow casts, making it your primary damage source if it is not already. Since it also resets the cooldown of healing vapors, it makes you able to face tank a lot more since your healing uptime will greatly increase.
Thanks
They CAN drop. No idea if it is specific to any boss but it could well be. Thing is each boss is once per dungeon run and the chances of it dropping are low (since I get naff all) and it can possibly take half an hour to fight through to that particular boss if it's in deep. Not worth farming. The quality is at best red and the chances of it being the right stats for you are beyond low. Crafting is your best option and that's a chore. Did it get a boost with the last patch? Not sure. Hope so.
The way to get them is by farming the currency that drops off some nightmare level bosses and buying the recipes in the blacksmith.
The items you need are not quick to farm but the easiest I have found is in the grasslands to the side of one of the towers (Orange I think, kind of a fire area? Not sure) there are two bosses who stand together but apart enough to do separately with no adds. It takes a minute to run to them and you can kill and reset the dungeon quickly. That's 2 every few minutes. Maybe there is faster ways but that's the best I found.
Last time I did grasslands something else dropped what is needed as well that I don't recall dropping it before and it listed it twice in the loot table but I have no clue if that's a recurrence of the spam loot message and a glitch or if the drop rates have been upped.
Hope that helps.
Thanks. Some bosses definitely have about 50/50 chance of dropping a red class set piece as I have killed Gru about 50 times to test it. Maybe it's just one boss per dungeon. No I don't think crafting got any love in the last patch and it might take an ungodly amount of hours to get a decent 4-5 star item still. Hopefully the devs are going to improve crafting.
