cursed key

How do i progress through the dungeon without the cursed key? Is there a way to continue through the dungeon without the key?

The door you are at is an alternate route. Even with the key I have not seen beyond that door. If you head back from that door you will renter the cave and see a wooden shack that you can walk through to continue to the dungeon.

the cursed key can only be obtained by defeating the lich king in ragewind castle on the
nightmare difficulty.

it unlocks the cursed door in the first dungeon. which has 2 npcs in it head down the stairs and you'll see them

but from what I can tell the room is pointless and holds no purpose aside from the npcs.

Some people can see the NPC's while others can't. This has been stated by the developers to be a bug.

the room holds treasure for your class if you interact with the npcs

I had a cursed key and the door did not opened to me, then I dropped to my friend who were the host and now the key is gone
