100% map is so frustrating
Stuck at 99.8% I ran laps on the stupid crater cause that's what the internet told me to do, I still can't find this remaining .2% this is killing me.

Where could the last .2% be?

I think I've got you covered. Do you see that bigger room on the map below the forest of spores camp? I compared it to my map, and one part of the room outline is a little faded out compared to how it looks like in my own map, so it's most likely that spot.

I had same problem yesterday, I just kept going to each area just running along the edge of each area until I got it. I think it's a bit flexable.

I mean, that's technically an option, but at the same time highly inefficient. Just focus on the edges that appear faded out on the map. Some of them are supposed to look a little faded out, but in most instances this means that you didn't quite get it.

Is there any point to 100% map? Missing 1% ;_;

It's needed for two achievements (completing the map and getting all items). 100% gives you an artifact that makes your extra gauge increase faster, and unleashing that one makes it increase even faster than it already did, which in turn makes it kind of nuts whenever you don't need any of the other artifacts for certain puzzles.

EDIT: Ah, but keep in mind that if you want all items, you need to do a full NG+ run anyways (mostly because you can't get all weapons from the weapon test quests and all the ultimate weapons in one run), so you could technically use that as an opportunity to re-explore the map and fill out the missing corners.

It's 1 of two Gold Trophies originally so they must have deemed it to be pretty important.

I messed up this one, I had the whole map covered, I just had to enter the final area to get the remaining 1%.

do you still have to rub alongside every pixel of every path to get a area map to 100% or is it more forgiving like Lacrimosa of Dana?

It's way harder than lacrimosa of dana for sure, I didn't even try for that game and I got 100%, here I had to look everywhere.

yeah, played this game already and the map part was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating. I had hoped they'd change it for this release, which would've been a reason to buy it.

Yes this was probably the worst part of the game! Frustration!

Literally go explore and hug corners, there's a ton of invisible map that can be filled.

Sadly, I was hoping this version would fix this, but it's fundamentally broken.

Just got 100%. I'm dead serious about this: hug the edges of the map no matter where, especially in the Sanctuary of Storms. Hug EVERY map's edges (except towns and dungeons, they dont count) even if you think you got it. Take the whole thing map-by-map if you have to.

Also, remember that you get the last 0.2% after entering the last dungeon (Iris).
Titler Aug 5, 2018 @ 5:19pm
I was missing 0.2% after just entering Iris too... for me, it was on the right of the map, by the river, north of your starting city and right of the optional boss; climb the tree, and instead of heading left to the plant, there's a tiny branch on the right, follow it across to find the last bit.
