The only way I know of is by draging the piece to place where you want it to be. Now a circle should appear around the piece. I originally thought you should click the white dot at the top of this circle and then drag it either left or right to align the piece, but apparently any part of the circle should be fine. Than all you have to do is to repeat the process for every piece.

Drag and Drop doesn't work for me. I can highlight all 3 pieces with w or s but hitting c confirm/activate one of the 3 pieces doesn't work.

Odd you should be able to move it to place using wasd and confirming with c just fine. I tried it myself and it works. Although that alone wouldn't help you much since for whatever reason the buttons that should rotate the piece won't work at all (at least I had this problem) so you would still have to use drag and drop to align it. I don't really understand why you can't drag and drop at all. Unless your playing in fullscreen mode and have alt tabed out of the game, that seems to affect the mouse behavior making it so that whenever you click it will alt tab you out of the game. If that is the case than you have to restart the game to fix your mouse behavior.

I still don't know how to solve this puzzle. There are 3 red pieces. A yellow hightlight box apears around them when I press w or s. The game plays an error sound when I try to confirm my selection with c. a / d highlights the first piece if no piece is selected. Blue circles apear when I press the left mouse botton. The circles are smaler if I move the mouse cursor while holding down the left mose button. Pressing/Holding the left mouse button also unhighlights the red piece and gray-out select and confirm. I am using windowed mode.

Ok I tested this out on windowed mode and it works just fine. If piece is colored red you are missing it at the moment. So basically your problem is the fact, that you haven't found any of the puzzle pieces yet. They are inside chests hidden around, that dungeon.

Thanks. I found the pieces. I thought there would be no pieces displayed if I was missing all of them.

Yeah it can definitely be confusing if you haven't found a single puzzle piece. Honestly they really should add some sort of info button for those puzzles or at least make it so that everytime you restart the puzzle it would explain the mechanics again. I've had issues with two different puzzles just because I didn't catch everything the tutorial screen said at first glance. Anyway I'm happy everything worked out for you at the end.
