2. I've 100%ed the game once when it came out on PC for the first time (the Chinese Joyoland version) and am close to doing it a second time now, and not a single time have I been stunlocked or juggled any more than it can happen in Lacrimosa of Dana. Even IF it happens, you can switch to another character for a second and avoid all of it.
Sorry, but this is just another case of "get good".
Here you're just talking out of your ass. I'm still only getting about 5-10k gold per quest or map completion hand in and only getting hit by the ailment once already lost me 20k.

An alternative for you is to practice a lot of Flash Guards and Moves, and/or saving a lot when you see you're gonna lose money.
I have too much money and killing Golden Pikkards that's found early in the game becomes easier as you get more powerful.
Also to the OP, how many skills did you unlock? If you gotten to near late game and only have 4-5 skills per character, you aren't making efficient use of skills.
Makes the game so easy on nightmare ;D
