So by buying the game here and using an undub, you avoid rewarding the "guilty" party (the JP voice agency) while also not punishing the other parties. (Falcom and XSeed)
falcom has this waird new contract that's hinders them from giving those japanese VA.
So its just battle cries like in the tails in the sky games?
I hope we get mods like with those games as well. If not i might just deal with it. If its so few lines i can see past it, tbh.
It's absolutly their fault. "Contracts" are always involved in dual audio situations. XSEED just chose that it wasn't worth it to go after those "contracts." Again, their fault - they ported the game and did not bring them over, can't treally blame that on anyone else.
That said, given the lack of voiced dialog, it probably just didn't make sense to their bottom line. Of course they'll alienate some folks with this decision, but it is what it is.
Same cast of terrible wall readers as usual, but completly avoidable if you turn the battle voices off.
