So I can get this and I'll be up to speed on errything Since I went through Ys 1 2 and felghana ?
You're right. You can play the rest however you see fit
On the other hand, although the games are quite independent of each other, some particular elements of history connect one to another.
For example: Origins, Ys I + II, memories of celceta, oath in felghana and ark of napishtim, in this order, develop the arc of the Eldeen. So for those who like to observe the lore of the game, this should be the correct way to play.
While Ys seven, lacrimosa of dana and Lost Kefin are even more independent. Being games that explore the adventures of Adol in the continent of Afroca. With almost no reference to the Eldeens.
Technically true but i.e. Ys VI and Ys Seven are connected. Same goes for Origin and I/II.
Though I'm glad the one story arc is fully connected now with this one :-)
Ys: Memories of Celceta is ys4 arrange ver
you can think it:
ys3 ===> Ys: Oath in Felghana
ys4 ===> Ys: Memories of Celceta
but the story time is:
ys1=> ys2=> ys4=> ys3 =>ys5=> ys6 =>ys7
Origin, I, II, Celceta (remake of IV), Felghana (remake of III), Kefin (Ys V, not yet released in NA), Lacrimosa (VIII), Napishtim (VI), VII.
