Susanoo's matchup against Nine is seriously not funny.

I'll admit, I'm new to Susanoo overall, but Nine makes Nu-13 look like a ♥♥♥♥♥ cat in terms of sheer obnoxiousness. Can't charge, can't rush, can't counter, can't even zone. This ♥♥♥♥♥ just has an answer for everything, It'd more productive to just set the controller on my lap, crouch, and just block for the entire match until the clock runs out. In all seriousness: what the hell am I supposed to do? Aside from pick a different character anyway.

im a susanoo player. and yes, it is a really unfavorable matchup.
what can i say is just search for a opening to rush in since im never really fight againts real person who use nine good enough to give you an advice.

I think part of Susanoo's disadvantage against Nine is just how... heavy he is. For as vicious as he can be, he takes the idea of throwing one's weight around to a whole new level. Which Nine seems to be able to use to turn him into her personal voodoo doll. (I can't help but find it funny how Terumi's personal toadie winds up becoming infuratingly more powerful the moment that he ascends into literal godhood.)

Yeesh... and I thought Tager had it rough before, at least he has his magnetism to pull his opponents in. Susanoo's got bugger-all when it comes to closing the gap though. I'll admit, as time has progressed, I'm starting to understand why I've found Hazama to be the most versatile out of Terumi's aliases.

She doesn't have reversals and her backdash is not invincible, so get pressure going and don't let her go.

I agree Nine fights rather dirty and difficult for Susanoo. Best I've managed was to wait for her to do her ranged fist attack, and hopes she does a second one and rush her in between the first and second. Also force her to teleport and hit her when she's phases back in.

Or if you're really good, counter her attacks when she recovers. I usually eat her supers in succession and it blows.
