Game won't run

I try to play this game on my Dell XPS 13 9550 but when I launch the game, nothing happen. My drivers are up to date.

same problem here i havent found a solution, ive tried changing my resolution first and then running the game but nothing

For A twist of fate, I resolved this by updating d3dx9_35.dll. You should try this.

Same issue... I am running a AMD setup... 3990X, 128GB ddr4 3200mhz, 2 x RX Vega 64... everything updated and latest drivers for EVERYTHING and this still wont run! Shame as I bought all three together to play one after another... and am now stuck on this last one not launching!

Me too.
I bought the game yesterday. Checked the integrity and the last updates of my system. Removed the game and a second download and install. The same result, game start and then stops, nothing to see, no messages.

Youpi, I've found a solution.
The link of DarkHarmony resulted in a blocked site for me, however I found another one:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109
Download in directory:
SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Runaway A Twist of Fate.
Run the file DXSETUP (just double click)
Start the game in Steam.
Perfect.
