Runaway: A Twist of Fate

Resolution Fix
For those who cannot get the resolution to change and are stuck with just a small box in the middle of the screen with large black borders, I discovered two solutions.

1. Edit the "ratio.config" file in the game folder

Adapter = 0
Width = 1360
Height = 768
Format = 32
RefreshRate = 60

This resolution provides you with an almost borderless screen with a much bigger viewing picture than any other resolution provides. Forget "RATOF-Config.exe" as this file doesn't seem to work for changing your resolution!

In addition, the following steps have helped some players but may not be necessary on your system:

Right click the "RATOF.exe" file and click properties
Click the Compatibility tab
Check the Disable Visual Themes box
Check Disable Desktop Composition box.
Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
Run as administrator.

2. Use dgVoodoo2 to apply a truly borderless resolution (a more involved solution)

Download dgVoodoo2 (Google)
Copy and paste the four dll files from the "MS\x86" folder into the game folder with the "RATOF.exe" executable file.
Copy and paste the "dgVoodooCpl.exe" file into the same game folder and set administrator rights to the file
Run "dgVoodoo.Cpl.exe," then click the "Add" button and select the game folder

Settings:
Under the "General" tab, ensure that "Full Screen" is selected (Scaling mode "Unspecified"), as well as "Keep window aspect ratio" and " Capture mouse"
Under the "DirectX" tab, the Videocard listed should be "dgVoodoo Virtual 3D Accelerated Card". This tab also allows you to experiment with various settings for graphics. I have "VRAM" set at 256 MB, and "Texture Filtering" and "Antialiasing" set to App driven.
Just make sure you select "Application controlled fullscreen" and "Disable Alt-Enter to toggle". Then select whichever resolution you require in the drop down menu. I also like to check off the "dgVoodoo Watermark" that will display onscreen in the bottom left corner to verify that it is actually running successfully (you can turn it off afterwards).
Click the "Apply" button on the bottom and click "OK".

Now launch the game and you should be good to go!
