Candle puzzle in oasis, chapter 2

I was never good with puzzles, and Shadows: Awakening is extremely stingy with hints in regards to it's puzzles. Anyway, can anyone point me towards a solution for the candle puzzle in the Oasis (the ones surrounding the Cenotaph)? IS that a puzzle to begin with?

I think you mean this one:

x = candle on
o = candle off

Die Lösung findet man immer auf der Karte irgendwo (hier weiß ich es gerade nicht mehr wo es war) aber irgendwo ist eine ähnliche Stelle wie die der mit den Kerzen nur das man dort nichts verändern kann.
Das gleiche gilt für die Statuen-Rätsel, aber da muss man dort um dieLösung zu sehen zum Verschlinger wechseln

To the left of the puzzle is a small room accessible to the Devourer. There’s a statue there with candles in front of it. That’s the solution. I believe it may be random; my solution didn’t match the ones I’ve seen posted.

There are 9 candles. You need to take note of the on and off state of each.
Mine was 011010011 and I got the Ring of High Druid.
