Need help with Gong room

[El Biffo]

Title says it all. I'm stuck in the Gong room. Not sure what I have to do in order to progress here. Hitting the Gong does nothing. What am I missing?

If you are about dungeon you need quest hammer in this dungeon and place it on altar. All in the same dungeon. After altar enchant hammer you strike 3 times gong with enchanted hammer in inventory.

No probs. Guess I'll just go looking for it.

Just track the quest. Once you find the gong room it switches over to pointing to the enchanted drumstick.

Went into my Quest Items and discovered I already had the drumstick! LOL, don't ask me where I found it. Turned out I just needed to plave the item on the alter which was in another part of the dungeon. Must say I am not a huge fan of Diablo clones but this game is a load of fun. I have just started the 2nd Chapter.

The Drumstick is found on the body in the gong room. The alter is farther into the catacombs. Once enhanced on the alter, return to the going room and (according to the Note dropped by the body) strike the going 3 times.
