Regarding the item rarity/quality

I am a little bit confused about the Purple(Legendary) and Orange (Artefact) quality, from my observation the first three tiers should be like: White (Common) < Blue (Enchanted) < Green (Magical), however I cannot distinguish the order of purple and orange, which has the more rare quality? I can buy limited orange items from the vendor, and the purple seems can only be obtained through boss drop/quest/puzzle, the stats of both are quite the same in the same level, don't know which is better.

Legendary is rarest and most powerfull gear.

Grey trash > Blue > Green > Artifact > Legendary.
I walked with Legendary set for Demon (8 lvl I think) until the 25 lvl.
The same with inquisitor set.
Though there is some “Artifact” gear that can is actually Legendary by its characteristics and far beyond all other Artifact stuff.

I didn’t find any legendary helmet for him better than orange one from Bone Demon in outworld desert.

Orange gear from traders is not orange by its characteristics. It is on green lvl

You can enchant a white gear to Legendary and that would be powerfull. Also you can enchant with settings you need.

I finished game without enchanting anything. Not like this will work on extreme difficulty.

You wanna say that I can't enchant on Extreme? Oh cmon man, I already found some essence I'm gonna use that when I'll find better loot.

No, I mean it is not like playing without enchanting is adequate on extreme.

I wonder if it is possible to challenge demon (in sword quest ) to get legendary demon gear and let his servant man die painfully to fulfil his pact (for evil score).

IIRC, you can agree with the demon first. The devourer and your main will have an argument, and you can choose not to kill the guy (the demon does it anyway for you). Then you can fight the demon for his loot.

I know this is good choice. I say what about fighting demon if you fulfil pact and kill man.
