Also, is this a game where you clear the story and it ends or is there a "endless farming" mechanic and reasons to play at endgame.
Also what about online play ect?
Shadows: Awakening is best described as classical RPG, without loot farming, but an actual story that also will end at a certain point.
It should be mentioned that each of the three main characters has its own unique story.
Additionally, during the game you are collecting puppets, characters to be added to you unique party, each with its own characterists, style and abilities. But those cannot be acquired all in one playthrough.
In addition, each of your choices will have an impact on the game. Meaning, you can be the scrouge, or the savior of the Heretic Kingdoms, but this is up to the player to decide.
Because of the realm-switching and group-/party mechanic, we focused on a singleplayer-experience.

Its more tactical and slow then diablo, but without pause option like pillars
Dear Developer, mby u can help me with my question about intro sound?
"How to make intro sound a bit quieter? Or cut off this 2 starting videos with logo? Coz my ears bleed everytime i launch the game. Audiosettings in game dont affect on intro... "
Maybe some tissues would help?
Whereas I have 57 hours racked up and I still haven't finished....though the end is in sight.
Guess it all depends on your play style...I tend to be a completionist.
Still, once done I am eager to replay again using a different main character and perhaps this time taking more notice of the information given to me regarding a couple of side quests I missed.
As far as this being a traditional rpg I would simply say it is more like an ARPG in the Sacred 2 vein rather than a story driven game such as Baldurs Gate 2.
Though the storyline is at least.... interesting, and the ability to instantly change your character in battle is a great feature.
