The old Textures gave the parts Character and a Story to tell
The new look like… something your dad don't want you to touch, because you could scratch it.
Maybe make it an option to switch between a clean and a weathered texturing?
I guess they might be better for a brand-new looking vehicle but the old ones resemble the Trailmakers style better, the scratches and scuffs give that sense of realism that the ''improved'' ones don't have.
Also they do look cheap and very memory-saving which is i think a wierd move.
