not gonna lie the option that sounds best to me is a moderate aim assist, there wouldn't be much interest to fights if it just autolocks on sth that's like 45° off.
oh ? well ty for your answer :)
although that doesn't really answer my question tbh ^^'
shots missing due to course correction is to be expected indeed, but i'm just wondering to what degree the aim assist is gonna act.
in my opinion it'd be funnier if you still have to get somewhat lined up with your target rather than just taking down a plane that's on the top right corner of your screen by just pressing your fire button.
although to me the best would be to get an actual reticle that you manually aim, with guns that can rotate to follow your crosshair. ( I do know you can put your guns on hinges / rotating thingy, but they don't automatically adjust to follow your aim )
but anyways, that's not how it's gonna be.
so i'm just curious about the "intensity" of the auto aim / aim assist, because i definitely think that combat where you don't have to make any efforts doesn't make for fun fights.
Or will there be a block that allows you to target vehicles thus allowing us to choose if our guns target or stay fixed?
1) I agree that an aim assist close to an aim bot makes for sometimes effortless and unfair fights. Hopefully, the aim assist will not be that powerful and will still make for fun and interesting battles.
2) We probably won't be able to see the specifics of the aim assist's intensity (or what specific weapons will have it) until the update comes out and we get to try it out for ourselves (my guess as to what weapons will have the aim assist ability is probably the weapons mounted on stands--like small cannons and possibly large cannons). However, Flashbulb Games did make a video going through the details of the Airborne Update. I haven't watched it, but I know it includes some gameplay reveals and therefore most likely shows the aim assist in action. Feel free to check it out to see how intense the aim assist is in the video (link below):
