Distance Sensor Range Increase

I know people have been asking for this for a long time. I am reiterating the necessity since it seems like an easy-to-implement, yet key feature that is not yet in the game. A range increase between even 100-150 meters would significantly improve players' creations. Creations such as radar-dishes, sensor-dependent autonomous vehicles, custom-designed turrets, etc. A larger range increase would be even better.
