Damage Sensitivity Option
I wanna suggest an option to increase/reduce how easily parts break off. If such a thing is possible. I feel like vehicles break just a LITTLE too easily, and they break WAY too easy from falling from high places. Would really love to be able to adjust how easily things break. Especially to make it so things break less easily. I wanna just roll my creations off cliffs and see them slowly chip apart (or possibly even survive the whole thing) instead of just instantly shattering. Would also make battles/derbies more interesting.

Or you could do a challenge where you turn damage way UP and try to make it across the entire map without exploding from the slightest bump. There's so many interesting gameplay mechanics and challenges I think that could come from such an option. :D

They might do that, but they might also make the creation heavier to balance things out, after all, it's kinda unfair to have the max durability all the time without any drawbacks

(it's also just realistic)

While damage physics are fun in some cases, the game itself is not all that realistic to begin with. For example you can build a vehicle that goes supersonic in under 5 seconds, or one that can turn on the spot regardless of how fast you're going. And so i feel like destruction physics should not be based entirely on "realism".
Besides, having a completely unbreakable vehicle will let us have significantly increased build limits since the game will no longer have to calculate physics for each individual block.
But until all that happens you can use the Indestructible Seat to make your vehicles tougher, though not by that much.

I was thinking the drawback might be that you would have to play the story mode at default settings, same for time trials and racing. If you made your vehicle indestructible or close to it, basically anything achievement-based would be turned off. It would be purely to mess around and have fun

Actually it will not because the game already doesn't calculate the physics for each individual block. The game welds blocks that aren't separated by mechanical blocks together and then calculates the physics for the entire group rather than for every block, the only moment in which the physics of each individual block need to be calculated are when a collision happens, but that's not the main reason for the complexity limit to be a thing, the main reason for it is calculating the groups of blocks in which the vehicle should be splitted on
