Recover the salvage - but how?

It's really weird, you arrive at the launch pad, ok there's a power core there, seems interesting, you get close it says "recover the salvage" with a destination, ok you go there and you get more info, but then what? Press a button? Click somewhere? Drive around? Pick the core up somehow?

I guessed you have to push the core to the drone after a few minutes, but it's not obvious at all. I thought the drone was just a marker at first, not some place to bring stuff to.

Why not say it? There's help just about anything but not the first, most basic task.

If you haven't built a vehicle, do so. Building vehicles is one of the things this game is about. Anyway, once you get the Tractor Beam, moving Salvage becomes a whole lot easier.

The tutorial tells you to build a vehicle. It also tells you to visit the drone. It just doesn't tell you to push stuff to the drone. It's an unusual mechanic, normally you collect by picking stuff up, not by pushing it around. I'm simply suggesting it should be more explicit about that.
