Mod support/Workshop
So I already seen a thread from last year where you let know you're interested in playermade content, just not to what extent. Now here is my plea: I feel this game would really thrive on playermade content. From maps, to custom blocks, programmable blocks, to playermade missions and races. If this game could become a vehicle (pun intended) for our imagination it could really bloom into something special. What sold me was the warm happy vibe that invites you to have fun. I think what ultimately disappointed me in similar titles is that you can only play with the blocks that come with the set. People that like building, creating, don't want that; they want the tools to keep making more stuff, without being limited too much in their imagination. Even the LEGO sandbox game failed to capture that feeling of limitless possibility. If you're going to rely on only your team to supply usable content, you'll probably won't keep up. The added benefit is that if you supply the tools for the community to make a big chunk of the content, you can focus on making more tools and improving the existing ones. I think the only catch is enabling people in a manner that is intuitive and efficient. There are games out there with alot of freedom, but have unnecessarily complex interfaces which makes the average player give up within 10 minutes of playing.

the game already has a mod support, although it's still in alpha, for that i recommend you to join the official trailmakers discord since there is a channel there specifically made for modding, that said player made maps are confirmed to not be happening, the process through which the devs go to create maps is not easy enough for them to make a map editor

read my previous comment, there hasn't been an update since i posted it so nothing has changed for how to make mods, altough the devs have already said that the next update is going to improve the mod api a lot

The game is amazing, but really what i think it lacks is some kind of long distance race, like an endurance race. Even the longest can be ironed down to under 40 seconds. Would be great to have the challenge of building something for a variety of surfaces, environments and terrain.
