Swapping vehicles makes you sometimes die

New campaign, this happens quite randomly. I think you die because it sometimes make you jump out and you get run over by your vehicle. I don't remember this being an issue previously. Honestly having the quick swap also to the jump out key is a bit of an oversight I think. Also can't seem to rebind that key to something else.

it depend of the vehicule design. i noticed when i have a cockpit that is not on a block and that make me pass trought and fall sometime or stay on a thin block what make me high jump when repair or be crushed under when end repair.

I've been accidentally jumping out of my vehicle while switching too, and almost always dying from it. Nothing like instantly losing a fight because the pilot decided to jump out mid-combat and took a single hit.

I don't remember this being so much of an issue before the Pioneers update. What changed?

I didn't play before Pioneers, so I can't speak to that, but I've found that I am less likely to be launched if I hold down F longer while swapping vehicles.
