how to use a detached camera block
so i made this railgun type thing with pistons and added detachable blocks on the end to act as buckshot, now i wanted to see what the blocks see so i tried putting a camera block on it but the moment the block was detached and fired i could no longer see through the camera, i tried even firing a cockpit with a camera attached, and all the gate stuff, anyone know a solution, or maybe im using the gate wrong?

I believe that NORMALLY this is impossible because you're not supposed to be able to interact with a block that isn't attached to your seat, however, I think it is possible to do this by using the RC glitch to activate it.
I may have gotten some of this wrong, so anyone feel free to correct me

It's only possible with seat rc. With seatless rc you can only use the camera if you activated it before detaching, and you can't leave the camera afterwards
Alvoroping1 this is untrue. You can do it. I've done it before. I made a system that made it rapidly swap between 2 cameras on an RC missile. This didn't end up working well, but it did let me swap cameras and turn off cameras and turn on the cameras in the same way that you would turn on and off a steering hinge no issues at all.

again, yeah, you can with seat rc. You just can't do it if you are using the seatless rc method, since in that case the camera is being activated on a creation completely unrelated to the one you are on
