How to make Accumulator Hinges move linearly
I'm building a crane-like vehicle that has two parts to its arm. the first part is attached at the mid-point of the vehicle and points to the rear of the vehicle. the other part is attach to the rear end tip of the first arm, folding back onto the mid-point of the vehicle. It's basically half of a scissor lift.

To get the second arm in place without collisions, its at a 90 degree angle upwards in build mode, and then folds down when spawned in. I've noticed accumulator hinges have a ramp up time when the hinge is close to 0 degrees, And accumulators makes it so the hinge can't fold the wrong way.

Because the second arm is already angled when it spawns in, its outside of the 0 degree area, and is at max speed until it gets close to being 90 degrees from the first arm. And because the first arm starts at 0 degrees, It starts off moving slowly, so they don't move in unison.

Is there any way to make accumulator hinges move linearly? Or, Alternatively, A way to make it so you can fine tune the angle of a hinge without it being able to go into negative degrees.
