The Game should have a free trial

This is more useful for the publicity of the game (Than for us the consumer) for it to have a free trial, Kind of like the expedition mode you guys had when the game was in like is the pre-alpha phase, people would check out what the game has to offer and maybe or maybe not buy the full game.

you can try any game on steam by purchasing it and then refunding it if you don't like it/doesn't work, only requirements are that you can't play for more than 2h and have to refund it in less than 14 days since you purchased it

if you do that too often you might get banned for refund abuse which would include using the 2 hours to free trial games without demos

i'm not saying you should, but there's nothing wrong with pirating a game and buying it later.
