How to play on custom maps??
I downloaded a map from the workshop, how on earth do I play on it?

When you load the map/mod, the map may load right above the existent map you are already playing on, so you may need to load the map a little above ground.

all maps use fixed positions to load objects, you can't adjust those when loading them. Most custom maps specify which base map you are intended to use, and if they don't using test zone is a safe guess

custom maps as a whole are a hack on top of a system that wasn't designed for them, which is why that happens. They can only spawn objects at given positions, so they just have a list of objects to spawn with their respective positions, and those must be spawned on top of another normal map. Using fixed positions is the simplest way to do that, which is why it is used

Right. Sounds like it comes down to the Test Zone being the best map for loading custom maps, then.
