yeah. Basically, proyect karoo was the original idea of trailmakers and started on press play, a microsoft's studio. Once microsoft decided to shut down press play, the people who were working on project karoo (including the one who had the original idea) funded flashbulb and started working on trailmakers, which they called pioneers at the time. There is also a reference to project karoo in stranded in space (there is a location called "eye of karoo" on the map)
