Thanks for stopping by! I think the vast majority of the dev team have played BK: Nuts & Bolts, I know I certainly sunk too many hours into it back when it came out. :)
We don't have a lobby area as such, but you can play Sandbox, Race Island and Dethrone with up to four players and here you can basically do what you want. Fight, show off, race etc.
You're totally free to get in and out of your vehicle at any time and enter build mode (well, as long as you slow down).
More parts is something we'll certainly be adding to the game as we progress through Early Access and beyond. I personally loved the variety of stuff that was available in BK:N&B.
Blueprints are able to be freely shared with people, either via external methods such as social media and simply sharing the saved blueprint .png, or directly through Steam Workshop.
In terms of stuff you wish was in BK, we have rotating joints and our community have made some incredibly impressive mechs!
We have a selection of pieces that aren't your standard cubic shape, and we want to add more. :)
