What's the deal with the censorship in the latest patch? It just came out of nowhere, not documented in the patch notes.

I bought this game, and all the PM games, in 2017-2018. At the time, the translations were truly awful so I set them aside. I loved PM2 and wanted to be able to enjoy the other titles when they were readable. I know PM2 is the most popular game, and has been remade multiple times. The translation was fixed in Refine and was improved in Regeneration. Did the other games also get improved translations?...
