Hello im new to this game and unfortunately my game is in Japanese, how can i turn it to full english UI. Thank you for answering.

in the settings tab

the 4th tab in the menu (icon of like 3 volume sliders), then in the sub-menu, the 5th option, and then u'll probably see "english" like 2-3 times on ur screen, just put everything to english, "apply"

ive done that already and all it did was change the dialogue language but not the UI language. ive trying to change everything to english but unable to

it happend to me that u need to setup first another language before you can see other languages too, for me spanish.

start the launcher, hit the little cog wheel on the top right, set language to english

eh? well i dont know what you did then to have it japanese only.

try right clicking black desert in your steam library to bring up the properties, and then under general check if the language is set to english. maybe this will do it, but thats the last idea i have

Your Steam store account location determines the region assigned to the game, and in this case, it’s set to the Japanese region. Each region has its own language options, and the Japanese region only supports Japanese.

If you'd like to switch regions, you'll need to update your Steam store account location.

I had the same problem as you, I was able to solve it, I had downloaded it a long time ago, and it stayed in the library, but as it was the free version it was only in Japanese, delete it from your library and reinstall it, if you wanted to buy it surely it was not bought since you already had it, but look at the transaction history to confirm, once you reinstall it with a new purchase the problem will be solved, greetings !

As it was stated before - BDO language options depend on the region associated with the Steam account.
Steam account region depend on the registered purchase method.

I live in Oman which is in middle east and I use my visa for purchasing games, for some reason I have been assigned to South America and I have portuges and spanish as languages.
