Dont workers work when im not online?

I put my blue skilled giant worker to do some mining 50000times, and its done it only 6 times...

It only finishes 1 time when you log off and starts again when you log in.
They dont work when you're offline.

No. Or very slowly. Workers really only out put performance while you are online. (Hence why the game reccomends you idle it rather than close it)

Yes. You basically have to keep the game running for any meaningful progress. Just keep in mind this will affect your power bill, especially considering BDO won't "idle" at 0-1% CPU load.

Because not everyone wants to invest that kind of money into *not* actively playing the game. I.e. you might prefer to not have your workers working over paying that just for the added items.

Yeah.. the fact that I have a 1200+ unit does not really matter for me. What matters is the fact that im quite sure my PC puts out more then 40db while its on. Living in a small appartment where said PC is less then 4 meters from my bed that is the rub.. ;) The quality of sleep I get when I let my PC run all night is about halved.

yup, thats how bdo keeps "online player" numbers up. they force their player base to stay logged in day in day out. pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tbh. quit this garbo half a year ago best thing i ever done.
