Why this game is so easy?
Black spirit be like: Run you fool, you can't take on that monster
Me: Hold my beer, please.

Seriously, played for several hours, currently I'm lvl24 and I'm not impressed with the combat difficulty at all. Playing as a wizard, btw.

Early game is easy. You will encounter difficulties after level 55.
Reistrix Hunter Mar 26, 2019 @ 12:36pm
Game is easy until 56. Then if you don't have good gear you won't be fighting mobs that'll actually progress you.

Once you get good gear the entire PvE portion of the game is a cake walk

just wait until your level 50 and players can pk you for not having good enough gear in a grind spot get 56 and get your awakening spend 2 hours at a grind spot trying to get to level 60 or 61 then a mob somehow kills you or you go to a world boss and he claps them cheeks and then you lost 2 hours or 3 days of exp better yet when you enchant accesories just for them to blow up then good bye 25 ap/2.5 bil depending on the accessory game can be very challenging when you get higher levels/ high risk gear you wont be saying that lmao
Once you open your wallet and pay massive amounts of IRL cash and buy 620 and up GS.

The whole PvP game becomes a cakewalk. More so if you play Mystic, Striker, Sorc, or Musa.

There is a video on youtube of a striker killing players by actually just facerolling it's keyboard.

This is not a PvP or PvE MMO.

This is a P2W RNG gear based Korean Grinder. Don't allow it's false MMO tag fool you.

- There is little to no story
- Progression is RNG and or Cash shop based
- You are penalize for grouping in this game. So you can't be carried by friends and have to spend money on it's cash shop to progress at a somewhat reasonable rate.
- You make more gains in game by afk lifeskilling than you do actively monster grinding until you are 235 AP which depending on RNG or IRL cash spent, could be 4 to 14 months.
- NPCs are lifeless HP sponges that have no AIs.
- PvP is completely RNG and Gear based
- RNG combat

So yes compared to actual MMOs. BDO is like a game for very incompetent gamers to be successful in. It's one of the few that these types of gamers have on the market atm. Which is why the cash shop items in this game are soo high. Because for most BDO vets. it's either this or get completely curbed stomped in MMOs or Multiplayer games, where RNG and Gear won't save them. So PA and Kakao charges a boat load for the service. Supply is low for obvious reasons, and the Demand is not so low. There are quite a few incompetent gamers here.

Just continue playing and you will answer your question by yourself.

Once you hit level 56 go to whatever server that finish by a 4 aside from Olivia... Press escape & go to battle arena(practice arena). Fight anyone & tell me how it goes. :P

That's not difficulty if they are easy mode Gear Killing him.

There is a difference between Gear carried victories and Difficult victories.

But once he gets that type of gear. They will also be one shotted by him should he choose OP PvP class.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DIFFICULTY IN BDO

It's all based on IRL cash spent and RNG.

PvP and PvE is not challenging at all once you are super geared. Because the base combat system and game as a whole is... "A mile wide and 1/2 inch deep."

Because sir I'm one of those gamers that know better than to play BDO for it's PvP or PvE. I enjoy the visuals and the lifeskilling system.

I am one of these gamers who can progress in BDO in my tray. While playing other simulating games and MMOs for PvP and PvE while streaming both at the same time.

90% of those 3k plus hours of BDO is it lifeskilling from my tray. While again playing MMOs and games like ESO, GW2, and Stallaris. You know those big brain MMOs and games that being RNG and Gear carried to victory is not a thing.

I mean you had some good points in your message but than you felt the need to do the elitist saying that BDO is for incompetent players and you are the one who knows which are the real games, like holy moly you talk about ESO which is one of the trashest MMO out there imo.
BDO is not flawless but does definitely something betther than others for sure.
For example isn't it good that you can progress without playing at all?
Last but not least, when you download a game you should know that this is a korean MMO and you gotta commit to it if you want to progress (but nowadays game is so easy in so many ways...) and be competitive. Hard Work pays off and here's a 261 ap in less than 1 year telling you without paying2win. (no rng carried, check my videos if you don't believe me).
Some people are just too casual (not that they can't enjoy the game) or they simply downloaded the wrong MMO, but this is a true MMO and the only one I would personally play and yes, I even like RNG so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will get rng carried or quit the game crying.

I'm playing a witch and I can't believe that I can easily melee knights in full armour with my stick (I know, I know, it's a magic staff). I toss a spell or two? I melt faces. All the faces. Even the aggressive "elite" enemies die in just a couple hits. They almost all have zero AI beyond just rushing me or just standing around until i slaughter them.

I understand making the first few levels, or even the first 10, really easy so players can learn, but I'm in the mid 20s now and I have to aggro enemies then stand still in order to take any damage. There's easy, then there's pathetic. This? Pathetic. I want some challenge, and especially when I'm fighting a boss. I just killed a boss and was surprised at how quickly I dropped them. It was extremely easy. I think I got hit once or twice, but it barely scratched my character.

This game looks great (once you tweak the settings so it's actually looks good), and I like the combat mechanics but I need some kind of challenge soon or I'm probably just going to uninstall. I tried to avoid anything that would make the game too easy, too. I'm not really upgrading gear except for what I get from quests, haven't enhanced any gear, and am only buying a few skills, I have a lot of unspent skill points in an attempt to make the game feel just a tiny bit challenging.

I get that the game gets harder near 50, but why make enemies nothing but XP pinatas and punching bags for the first 40+ levels? This could be an amazing game, but the quick enemy respawn timers (way too fast) and ridiculously easy combat are really destroying the experience.

No one levels solo 1-56 anymore unless you are questing (which new players should do for gear), it's normal to have a friend boost to 56 in like an hour in kama with full buffs (500% 200% and 100% daily with whatever else is out there.. food/elixir and black spirit)
I could see where people say the game is pay to win though, maid/tent and melting costumes; or selling 600-800$ worth of outfits to buy a pen lol
