Hi there and all! : )

MSI are good and a trustworthy brand, they once re-wrote a program just for m,y laptop because PowerDVD makers refused to address an issue I was having. I'm forever grateful, talk about looking out for their customers.

Anyway, your specs are awesome for a laptop and more than adequate enough for this unoptimized game. Laptops generally run much hotter than it is ideal, and this is due to their enclosure and all, but if you wish to lower the temperatures, then you may do so in this game by doing the following below.

Click on the Gear Icon, bottom right > Performance > Optimization (left pane) > Low-power Option (this option when I have it enabled for AFK activities, lowers my overall PC heating by 10 degrees Celcius - nifty to have on AFK, but frame rates can dip by as low as 10-15 frames per second as a result)

On the Graphics & Textures pane > High-End Mode (disable it)

Don't forget that the game can utilize the CPU a fair bit, so the heat build up is exacerbated by this factor, and reflected by the GPU's heat build up.

Your Laptop, if old, could also have build-up dust and gunk, which would also exacerbate the heating issue much further. Just something to consider. : )

Not a problem, I hope it gets a little lower still.

Also, if you haven't already applied the following, but you can lower the power consumption of your GPU further, via the NVIDIA Control Panel. There is a feature to manage your GPU Power management.

Right-click Desktop > NVIDIA Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Power management mode > set it to 'Adaptive'.

This will reduce the power consumption when there isn't much happening in the game, and thereby lowering the overall GPU heat dissipitation, depending on the circumstances this may not be a great reduction, but for AFK, it's a good feature to have enabled. : )

Don't use NVIDIA Experience for your graphics settings, in fact, don't use it at all if you can help it -- I don't use it myself at all, it's more a hindrance than anything beneficial.

Do you know how to perform a clean boot? If so, use that to determine what processes to disable, as many of them would be bloatware - unless you've already uninstalled them when you first got your laptop.

Pretend? Dumb? Nah, as I've already stated, the length in which they went to accomodate me already speaks volumes, and it's from experience -- but according to you, that's considered dumb and something to pretend about? Not likely - at all!

Needless statement to make. All makes and brands have their issues, it's how they handle them and their customers that gets a vote from me. : )

Only reason use NVIDIA Experience because have not much clue on what setting use and so far the games used it on have been running smoothly . Not to mention cpu usage hasn't been a problem even with bdo the most my cpu usage was around 65. But I can give it go next time on with clean boot.

That's alright, my friend, we're only here to give recommendations, that's all. If NVIDIA Experience has been working fine for you, continue using it. I, along with others have had issues with it, and not just on this game, so yeah, it all depends on the circumstances and all.

I would recommend you to use a program called NVIDIA Profile Inspector to set your game settings. Very, very useful, far more useful and a deeper customization to a game's graphical settings than Geforce Experience could ever provide. It lacks screen/video capture though.

It's nothing fancy in looks, but in functionality, it works great! :lovebs:
