You can PK players on 50 lvl's but I think you don't lose nothing from it.

But they do lose I believe someone said karma and that lowers EXP gain.

They lose a LOT of Karma by PK'ing. And I believe when you have negative Karma, the guards in towns will start to attack you as well.

You can. Just kill mobs and/or purchase Tier of Repentance for 200 loyality points (free in-game/login currency) grating you +50% karma for 1 hour.

You don't need to pvp at all, this game is for everyone, if you happen to die out of safe zones, you lose nothing and the pker loses karma, we have life skillers, pve & pvp players, i have a friend who has pen items and at 250 ap while he is only a pve player.

You are forced to if you want to contest a particular grinding spot, otherwise no.
There are multiple channels to switch to if you do want that spot.
There are many things to do other than grind that one spot.

These don't exist in pvp. Instead be prepared to be outgeared by someone who has got gear in the best grinding spots, as a result of grinding those spots.

You lose nothing if you die to PVP, infact the person who killed you is the one losing karma. When they go negative karma there are heavy penalties such as they lose XP if they die and their gear downgrades if they die to PvE (not pvp).

Not sure that you lose "nothing" having had a bunch of trade goods destroy themselves when I got pvp'ed out of the blue the first time. Including a coin and several giant statues of some kind.

The only thing i lost beeing killed by a PKer was my pride :cinnamon: If the PKer dies he´ll go to prison. Happens a lot these days. Always read it in the chat onValencia server.

Btw.. i have been killed only twice in three years of gaming

You can PK a lot, but you may suffer from consequence by having a negative karma.

In the desert you stay red for 30min(same consequence as having a negative karma) & if you get owned, you'll be sent to prison. It's no so easy to get out & you may waste over an hour by trying.

If you want to PVP go to Arsha server, Normal server you may suffer from consequence.

Pvp System:

The pvp system is based on Karma points. Karma points are giving to you automatically when you create a character (30000 points). In order to pvp in this game, you need to activate the pvp mode (Alt + C). Now, if you don't activate pvp mode and a Pker kills you, then he will lose Karma points because it was an unfair kill. This is the only way to become a red negative player. However, if you activate Pvp and a pker kills you, then he/she won't get any negative karma.

Karma Bombing:

This is done by having Pvp mode disable and getting killed by a pker. Basically, you just keep going to the player that killed you, and force him to keep killing you. In this way he will keep getting negative Karma.

Red player (Negative Karma):

You are a fair game to everyone. You cannot go into towns or cities. The only way to regain positive karma is by killing Npcs (Ex: Sausans).

The only items you may lose are trade items and Crystals (Crystal with a high chance of breaking upon death). Other than that, if you don't have Pvp mode enable you won't lose anything.
Like others have said above. BDO has forced PvP after you hit lvl 50. And prepare yourself to get completely curb stomped. By P2W players and players that have been playing BDO from many years prior. That is the BDO way!

Yes. PvP ist the only endgame this POS has.
You PvE grind so you can upgrade to better PvP gear.
So you can defend your grind-spot against PvPer trying to chase you away.

Newflash : Unless you are already 600+ GS or a Whale that has a very nice disposable income. PvP in this game sucks worst than it's PvP. At that point you are nothing but fodder, for the 3 year vets and P2W Whales.

Unless you think it's fun fighting others that have GODMODE against you because they P2W or lucked out on RNG or played for 3 years longer than you. When many high income exploits was active that are no longer active. BDO has one of the worst PvP scenes even out of the Korean Grinders.
