Achievements not working?

Hello,

I just started playing BDO, and reached level 15 and i think defeated a couple bosses. But its not unlocking the achievements? Is it bugged or something? Hopefully it will be fixed! I want the Achievements. :D

I think it was mention that the achievements will be fixed but they are checking it out to see how to turn them on...I think it was pinned on the message board..

No, just like a few other basic things broken since about a year ago (e.g. the ability to report players in the game).

Yah, not working for me either... and I'm over 250+ hours. I have a ticket that is still sitting open from a week ago where a "GM Char" responded with:

"No worries, Steam achievements for Black Desert Online do not update in real time and you should receive your achievements soon!"

So I am guessing they may never hit? ...I for one am thinking about switching games for my main time sink though if this is what I can expect from it

@Herger: How's that helpful? All it says is this:

Are there Steam achievements, trading cards or badges for Black Desert Online?
Trading cards will be available at launch and the Steam Achievement system is currently still being developed. We are hopeful that Steam Achievements will be ready by the release date of May 24, 2017.

@ironman100: I don't know any game where achievements are "delayed". It's just another excuse rather than confirming there's something broken. I usually don't mind minor issues in games, but they seem to try to set track records for an active and "maintained" MMO.

@Smaxx completely agree with you man. Been waiting on achievements since BDO's release in steam and still nothing. Its dumb, but sometimes I look at my average game completion rate. it dropped from a 33% to a 30 after the purchase of this game. Frankly, I didn't and don't care that much because I was excited to unlock these achievements upon playthrough of the game, but given that fact that its impossible to get these achievements right now...all I've gotta say is I bet there are some completionists out there that are "angered" (p1-ssed.. can't believe I can't use that word) off, and they have some right to be imo as the developers haven't done anything to remedy this situation.
EDIT: I don't want to come off sounding like an entitled player as I realize how hard it can be to manage your game, but some feedback from the devs would have been appreciated instead of the brush off. It's clear this issue is important to a lot of players as there are numerous forums about it. Why not treat players, who chose your game, with some respect and dignity

Its not like they care either its been months and all they do is add outfits and pets lol 10gb update and a barely a thing changes ,this game is worth the money it costs initially but not the time neccesary to actually progress, and we still wont get rewarded for the things we have completed thus far either it seems , i uninstalled it about 2 weeks ago ,like i said its not really worth inputting time into i doubt il be back any time soon regardless if they get them working soon or not.

I'm so glad that they are doing everything in their power to blow us off.

Be nice to see an HONEST response from support as to what the status is on the correction of this problem. Hey STEAM, it's not a sin to admit that you're still having problems. I would rather hear that you are still not sure how to fix the problem than to be left in the dark not knowing just what the heck is going on. Honesty generates loyalty. Silence generates suspicion.

Don't listen to your marketing department, come clean and give us an honest update.

They basically don't know because the developers won't tell and even though they're the publisher they obviously have zero control over the game or what get's patched. You often get the impression they learn from patch notes what's patched like hours before it's actually happening.

E.g. two days ago they announced a new PvP servers. A CM on the forums wasn't able to tell for sure which channel gets converted or whether it's a new channel.

Fixing achievements really couldnt be that hard. Just play around a little with the Steam API and solve it.

I'm a bit of an achievement hunter, the fact that I cannot earn achievements at all kind of turns me off of the game a bit since I can see that they are there on Steam, but unobtainable.
